This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Mads Mickelson’s Gellert Grindelwald. Even Though Johnny Depp will always be Gellert Grindelwald to me but Mads Mikelson did a Phenomenal Performance stepping into The Role of Gellert Grindelwald for Johnny Depp. I’m so Excited to see what The Fantastic Beast Film’s has in stored for Gellert Grindelwald My All Time Favorite Antagonist’s in The Harry Potter Trilogy.

I love both actors because for me they gave two sides of Grindelwald personality, the madness and cruelty and I accept this change of actor as a character transformation, I couldn't say it better in less words.

@@guy6162 Apart from madness VS evil, I find it easier to believe Dumbledore fell in love with Mikkelsen's Grindewald. Dumbledore would have been attracted by the intellectual gifts and seductive charm in Mikkelsen's interpretation. Depp's Grindewald's madness has obscured those original qualities.

It depends on how you look at it. I truly thought that Depp’s role of the character made Grindelwald someone who stood out from everyone, appearance and the way he was. Although it definitely added a whole new side with Mikkelsen, and I can see how his version was easily loveable by Dumbledore, I just was shocked at how blended in and non-original that Grindelwald was portrayed in The Secrets Of Dumbledore

I've watched this five times now and I still get chills down my spine!! This song is perfect for Grindelwald and your editing is fantastic. I just think it captures Mads' Grindelwald so neatly (I've been thinking about that scene of him being swept away by the crowd so many times!! It's so powerful and charismatic, like a real personalistic leader would be) And so I love love love those scenes where he's being carried by the crowd - it's paced so well with the music. Literally so obsessed with it!! Plus the little break in the middle with his conversation with Dumbledore... My heart aches

Johnny Depp started Grindelwald as a cold manipulator and schemer. Mads Mikkelson continues Grindelwald as a somewhat hesitant, sad, yet determined Dark Wizard who still loves Dumbledore. This leads to Grindelwald gradually to show remorse for his crimes after his defeat at Dumbledore's hands in 1945.

The problem with Mads. Is that he is to different from Johnny. Both of them deliver great portrayals as Grindelwald. But each of them have a differet flavour for him. And both fit. Johnny is the flamboyant and dangerous Dark Wizard. Charismatic speaker with a flair for theatrics. Mads is the cold, sorrowful man, but still an evil Dark Wizar, but compared to Johnny's theatrics, he plays Grindelwald more sombre and to the point when using Dark Magic.
