Great video, Robyn! I am really getting into this thin glazing. I have just bought a very cheap set of "colour shift" paints from Amazon (they don't colour shift!!) - they are nice and pearlised but petty thin. They are ideal for the gel plate. Thank you so much for the beautiful free slides which I have downloaded. I love the architecture, esp. Barcelona which I have never visited. I will certainly use these in my art. Fellow old walls junkie here, from the UK!

Love the look of t hese translucent paints but I really dislike the packaging and they don't seem to reseal very well. That would be frustrating. That being said I really love the colors

The silver blue paint makes the photos look like an old tin photo.

I know that’s what I love about this process and Seth’s transparent paints are perfect for this. Finding paints that do this has been the tricky part for me :)

Yikes! I was thinking of ordering these Seth After glazes but…they seem a bit temperamental and wasteful. Your thoughts? Love your work!

The are actually beautiful! It was my fault that I didn't put the tops on tightly...lol the ones that I tighten properly I didn't have that problem :( I definitely would get them!

I was wondering if one could make very transparent colours by adding some medium to it. I must experiment with that.
@tannaorr41333 жыл бұрын
Golden has a glaze medium to add to acrylics that works beautifully to gain that transparent effect

Can you gelli print on trace paper? As an architect, I have rolls of this. Will it work?

Unfortunately Seth Apter only ships within the US. I live in Canada. Inspired by you I already bought some ColourShift metallic paints, they might work for these thin glazes. Thank you always for your weekly inspirations!

I have been picking up a lot of old books with great images to use in college but I don't like the "magazine gloss" look of them. I can't wait to try this!

Looks like poor packaging. Very frustrating when products clog.
