Gelliprint Image Transfers onto Black Deli/Tissue Paper

After my last Livestream I wanted to do more image transfer experiments using the Black Deli paper that ​⁠‪@inkiwell‬ Dede Willingham sent me (link to Black Deli below). I also wanted to try out the Pebeo Iridescent colors on the Black Deli paper. These thing deli tissue papers make great papers for collage in your art journals.

Awesome Susana! Have fun! If you have trouble with your tissue ripping, you may want to try this deli paper - I think the mild wax coating makes it a bit stronger 💙 TFW

Hey Devon…where did you get the acrylic board your gel plate was on?

Hi Sue! I got that one from Staples: it was a flat acrylic sign holder meant to mount on a wall. I believe the other one I have (not shown in this video) was a thrift store find. I believe you can order acrylic “plates” on Amazon or fin in hardware store but I have found these two options to be a bit pricy for where I live 🇨🇦 Thanks for watching! 😄

@@devonrex4 yeah, I’m Canadian too. On Amazon they seem to come in packages of hundreds…lol. Ok maybe not that many, but you get the idea.
