Will the dry method on the stamper work on top of regular polish instead of gel? Lovely helpful video, thanks.

Thank you for this video, much more straightforward than any other I've seen (and saved). Great method to avoid regular de-cal making! Love from Ireland x

So vibrant and bright! I don’t use this method mainly because I’m too lazy but my hands hurt a lot when I do detail painting so I tend to avoid it. Very relaxing to watch though. Great video x

❤beautiful design, I loved it with this style of stamping. I've always called it reverse stamping. great idea using the white over the design. 😍👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽❤❤❤ I need to get some of that neon pigment it's so gorg! tfs 😍

Yeah it can be called that also. The pigments are fabulous. Thanks for watching xoxo

I wonder if pure pigment eyeshadow would do something similar?
@emilyscott21094 жыл бұрын
I think any pigment powder would. Like mica powder would probably work the best but I use bare minerals eyeshadows and those are great. I use them to make dip powder colors too!

I am just beginning trying to do this advanced stamping, I have tried coloring in with stamping polish I may have a bad brand im not sure but it is so thick it doesn't want to dry even under a lamp, and I've tried regular nail polish for coloring in my designs as well after stamping with the stamping polish of course, but both ways I am having trouble with it either just smearing in with my outline, or breaking my outline when im brushing on the color when coloring in. And im using good reg polish too not the cheaper stuff from the dollar store.

Long time no comment have been very busy with my A-levels so haven’t had time to upload but still continue to watch the videos week in week out so many good things have happened for you so pleased for you ,finally signed back in to my KZbin account so I can leave thumbs up at least lol using the foil glue method like in my old advance video it’s brilliant great for salon speed and always pulls the whole image clean off the stamper head but as a con can start to wear off easily over 2-3 weeks and peel but is the most effective way over gel polish that my dad has been using for years now in his salon studio xx big thumbs up a big hi again MyLexi Also really well done for continuing your channel always in the background watching as a family xxx
@Gelulicious5 жыл бұрын
Well have you watched my latest shemodern. Video? They have brought out a gel Polish that gives a tacky layer that you can use for dry stamping so no peeling as quick cuz it’s a like a gel Base or topcoat, she has one that you can use with foils and the other for applying glitter & pigments, that’s the one I use for dry stamping. GLad your still a Geli Babe after all this time with your busy schedule. Thanks for signing in to leave a comment and give this video a thumbs up, much appreciated xoxo

Hi well yes we did and since then due to the price of that product we did a bit of googling and have found it under uv transfer gel for foils for as little as $2-3 on AliExpress so going to give it a whirl a very big thank you lexi xoxo 😘

I know putting a clear coat on a dry stamped image basically creates a decal, but I am wondering if I try this and have a few ready, could I just stamp the dry image onto tacky layer of gel polish without having to put a clear coat on the image?

Tfs I watch the video twice but I want to make sure I get the steps correct 😄 After stamping and colouring between the lines to transfer the decal Top coat no wipe then apply foil Glue and apply the finish stamp over the dry foil glue ?

You apply the colours to stamping image and leave to dry, then apply foil glue to nail and leave to dry, then apply stamping image on the nail. Thanks for watching xoxo

Really so beautiful. I bet "the best glue ever" would work too. I got a bottle about 9 years ago. It is really good with foils. I just have to add a little water in it. I think I paid 6 or 7 dollars for it. Not sure what it is now.

Great video thank you, although i seem to be having issues with the reverse stamping, i am using stamping polish to color in but it never seems to dry and when i try to stamp the design it is just too wet and looks like a very bad tie-dye design. How long do you have to leave it to dry? Many thanks
@Gelulicious4 жыл бұрын
A stamping polish should be properly dry with minutes maybe it’s a normal polish your using, they can take 20 -30 minutes to be completely dry. Try leaving it longer to dry for longer and see if that helps. Thanks for watching xoxo

You took the pattern and put it on the nail without showing what you did to make it stay on the nail. Did you use a polish, adhesive, or what?
@Gelulicious6 жыл бұрын
I did show and tell you the products you apply to the nail for dry stamping, but I did explain that at the start of the video, so I didn’t think I needed to show that again when I applied the stamping image being applied to the nail. Xoxo
