Welcome to the July challenge hosted by ‎@CeriGriffiths ! #GelyPostcardPlay
The guidelines are: 4"x6" size, use something that was made on a gelplate or made while using a gelplate to include digitals/printables, put the corresponding number on the front (July 1 would be a one, etc.), and have fun. If you want to play and don't have any gelplate related items just play along anyway. Do it when you can. If you don't make 31, it's okay.

I'm using June prompts by Paulla, Becky. and ‎@EddieMakesArt for a jumping off point for each day. The printable for that can be found on Eddie's community page in KZbin.
My goal is to post every day in July. Most videos will be short with some longer ones showing techniques on the gel plate, etc.
I will be choosing a winner from the comments for each postcard mid August. I'm making one to keep and one to give away each day. The giveaway is open to anywhere I can mail an envelope without filling out paperwork. If I can mail it with an international forever stamp, I'll mail it.

I apologize for not explaining what a long haul is. A long haul is a process on the gel plate where you place a stencil on the plate and then apply a layer of paint and then remove most of that paint (usually with tissue or a pliable paper) and continue doing that over and over until you're ready to pull up the stencil, let it dry, then apply the pull layer of paint and let that dry and pull that monoprint. Of course there will be at least 31 comments each day. Love your art and Ceri's. Gelli prints especially. Darcy I also love teal and it goes so well with gold. I'm a gold jewellery wearer and teal colours look great on me but the way you have put both prints together, showing both colours is fantastic. I do like the stencil pull. And your flowers are cute.

I always cut my masterboards into smaller pieces. I think i'll start with the 4x6 first to be sure I have that size. It's easy to cut smaller. Not so easy to make bigger! Nice job. Like Eddie's prompts. Saw those yesterday. Just watching for this one. ❤❤❤

Help...been away from YT access....just saw this today...are there prompts, or just do gely? Yes, the number of the day, use a piece of gel plate print (can be original, digital, or brayer off from using the gel plate), 4"x6" size (though some are using postcard backs they've printed that are smaller: Ceri has no postcard police force 😉), and have fun. He asks that we don't post future cards (i.e., don't post 11 on the 9th). Feel free to PM me with any questions. Also, super jealous you're in Scotland. I probably told you last time you went that my great-great-grandfather emigrated from there. No prompts, although I borrowed some at the beginning to have a jump-off point.
