@@MichaelBohemian Yeah, my first chromecast to own was a gen 3. thankfully the gen 4/Google TV wasn't much more, to essentially have a decently capable android device for the TV. ps1 emulation with xbox gamepad worked great lol

They say it is in the way t Gen 2 mini. Join the public preview program and see if they update yours. They say it takes a day or so to push the update if your country is eligible.

He says more connectivity but the only new connection on there is the ethernet port. The usb type c connector he talks if is for power. So there's still no way to connect an external usb drive to it. Plus android TV and Google TV has been forcing shows and movies below your apps tab with over six months. I used to love to have the ability to just have my apps on screen but it's annoying now with it showing films and TV shows you can buy on the main tab when there's the store tab for those things. It doesn't bother me where it shows different films and shows in the background on the main page though , it's the two scrollable films and TV shows under the apps bar that I want to get rid of. The Top-Selling movies and recently added tabs below favourite apps. I want an option to disable the top selling and recently added rows. If I want to buy a movie or TV show I'll go to the shop tab.
