We have two of the 15's with 1300watt powered Mackie tops. I don't understand all the negative feedback these receive. They work great! We have done big rooms, small rooms, outdoor events (big events), these do not disappoint. Best "boom" for your buck if you ask me.

These are entry level loud speakers. Compared to brands like EV, QSC, JBL, RCF, Cerwin Vega, Alto, etc. the sound doesn’t compare. Honestly, you need to hear the other speakers and compare.

I wish I saw this video years ago.. I bought 2 of the 15" version of this Sub for Djing. The cabinet is well made but that's it. They were not good for my application. I wasted my money. I replaced them with 2 LD LDGTSUB15A subs. The LD subs get the job done. Great video👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I purchased the ZRX 15 sub, and will be using them with 15in Harbingers. Tested out the sub today and found that it was more than adequate for the applications I am going to use it for. The key to getting this sub to work with very intense low bass, is using the 32 channel Behringer EQ with sub woofer out, and up to 30HZ control with the sub. I found the sub not to clip, and was very nice just testing ONE of them with 2 Harbinger 2,000 watt speakers. Im running the Harbingers also through the EQ at the top level of mids and highs, and get really clean and clear sound from them with a bit of bass boosted from the controller. Using these and the Harbinger 900S Arrays for weddings

I have two of these subs. They work nice at home. These are just right for home application. Also there good for the price if you just need some bass for you home.

(What is the song you used for the sound test and what is the song name?) What if i wanted to use this subwoofer for my DJ Gigs? Can i still use this subwoofer for my DJ gigs? I'm an EDM DJ and i don't have any subs i only got 2 gig speakers. Since that 18 inch sub is a decent low good price/price-range, i think it sounds pretty awesome. I'm thinking of getting the bluetooth version that is 2,400 watts peak someday/somepoint on in time. I currently have 2 QSC K10.2 K.2' 2,000 watt 10 inch drivers 3 inch coil gig speakers and they are just a punching pounders! I would get the QSC 3,000 watt gig subwoofer but that is way high price for me lol. I rather start off with a lower price sub first before i can climb up the bigger priced ones. (For a notice, i use a Peavey PV6BT Audio EQ Mixer and a Peavey mic that also came with a Peavey mic bag case thingy). i did have a Seismic Audio Boosted 1,600 watt 18 inch subwoofer and that was a good subwoofer but didn't last me a long time. I had to get rid of it because it just didn't sound that good. I had it for a couple of years with my QSC tops. My plan is to getthe bluetooth version of this Gemini 18 inch sub!

Are you sure it's 800w arms? The website says 1600w rms
@bendutchover13194 жыл бұрын
Irquist Moore 800w rms 1,600w peak. I own one. I’m a mobile dj, and have been 1 for 23 years. I use mine for mobile events. Why he says he would not recommend this for mobile application is beyond me. I play for small, mid, and large crowds. Now, because I only have 1, at the moment, I only have used it for small crowds, with 2 powered tops. I use anywhere from 2-4 passive subs for my mid to larger sized crowds, but one of these Gemini ZRX 18s can do what 2 of my Peavey 18PV passive subs can do, easily. These are worth the investment, but I purchased one, first, to put it to the test, before investing in another one, and also, because it was more affordable for me to setup payments, through AMS, to pay one off at a time. I hope this helped.
