Hello everyone and in todays video we will be unboxing this Gemini Jets 1/200 scale, Royal Air Force Airbus A330MRTT.
The Royal Air Force currently operate 14 of these aircraft and have coined the name "Voyager" fot their A330 fleet. This specific aircraft, however, is known as Vespina.
Vespina is an exception to all the other A330's that the RAF operate, as this aircraft is pained into a very special, £900,000, Union Jack livery.
This was done to provide the Royal Family and the Prime Minister with an official transport aircraft for long haul flights.
The livery is designed to display paitrotism when visiting abroad at various events like the annual UN day which takes place in New York and Washington DC.
While the leaders head into the city, the world's aircraft are left in a line for spotters to gaze at and for years, the UK has sported a grey, military themed A330MRTT, now however, a new Union Jack livery will addorn ZZ336 for the world to see.

Other difference with the F35 is that Australia have the A variant (conventional takeoff and landing with boom refueling), whereas the UK has the B variant (short takeoff and vertical landing with probe/drogue refuelling). Also with the RAF Voyagers, they have two different variants - KC2 and KC3. KC3's have an extra centreline refuelling unit for refuelling larger aircraft like the C130 or A400M

Excellent video on this amazing model and including the history as well. I believe that long tube on top is a high bandwidth communications antenna that requires a long run for the wire which is why there is the section on top the aircraft. Please do a 1:200 military base!!
