PCH from L.A. to Monterey is my favorite part of California since I started visiting in 2004! Wow, you guys said Carmel by the Sea is a very beautiful and charming town, as beautiful as any City in the US. You are very mistaken when you say 'The buildings look old, but I'm sure they're new'. Carmel is one of the oldest towns in California. Many of the buildings are fro the early part of the last century.
