I’m getting a surgery on the 15th this month, so March has started with a negative mindset. The surgery is gonna take about 6-7 hours, but I’m only under anesthesia for one hour. I think the reason behind my negative mindset is because I have some traumatic experiences with anesthesia. But your video helped me calm down a little bit. Thank you Gemma 💗

Been there, done that, absolutely understand the worry about anesthesia. I've had bad experiences with it for the 3 ops I've had. Don't worry you'll be absolutely fine, speak to the surgeon and the team, they will reassure you. Hope all goes well for the 15th x

Hi Gemma I just wanted to say as it struck a cord with me when you said you feel puffed going up the stairs. I had this and I realised it wasn’t normal for my age and had my thyroid checked and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism then Graves’ disease. Pregnancy can cause this in many women so if this does persist and feels abnormal please have your thyroid checked xx
