There, saved you a trip pf going to the website 2 1/2 cups (12 1/2oz/355g) all-purpose flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (7oz/187g) water, roughly 1 tablespoon olive oil 5 minute pizza sauce mozzarella cheese , grated fresh oregano, or fresh herbs of your choice, for garnish pepperoni

if you don't want to use an oven, heat a cast iron skillet with some oil until hot, then pop the dough on the pan and cook for around 15-20 sec on medium heat. turn the dough over and put on your toppings! heat on low until the cheese melts.

If you don't already know, cream of tarter is also a leavening agent and will make things light and fluffy. It is what makes snickerdoodles so light and airy. I added it to this recipe, one teaspoon for the whole pizza and it came out nice.

I tried this one today when it got to be about 30 minutes to dinner time and I hadn’t thought about what to make. My daughter asked for pizza yesterday, and this dough delivered! ive made this exact recipe so many times over the last year because I was looking for a no yeast pizza dough except I add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar and a little extra salt just because I like my dough a tiny bit sweeter and it always turns out great! I use just a jarred sauce and a shredded bag of mozzarella because I don't like anything more but I love this recipe so much!! I come back every few months just to make sure I haven't gone too far off the recipe lol!

Bless you for making this recipe! I've made it twice now. The first time was excellent, but there was a bit of a bitey aftertaste, I assume due to the baking powder. The second time I made it, I added a teaspoon of white sugar to the dough and went a little heavy on the olive oil. I highly recommend doing this! It took your already amazing dough and kicked it up a notch. Thanks again for the recipe!

Pro Tip: let it rest ten minutes while you cut your pizza toppings, it makes it way smoother and easier to roll out. That way you can stretch it to a 16 inch pizza, which is way bigger and more family sized. You can also add a bit of italian seasoning and it smells excellent. Don't expect this dough to brown too much when it's cooked, I once baked it for 40 minutes and it was pale. Just take it out after 25 max.

You're so right on not rushing your water into the mix, I'm a newb at baking and cooking in general but I've learnt my lesson by remembering that the water you add can't go anywhere but the dough, no evaporation like when making a sauce! I know it sounds silly, but it sure set me straight, what goes in stays in!

Great recipe. I will have to try this soon. But I think I figured out a way to give the dough a more yeasty flavor: Use beer (a pale larger) in place of the water. It should give it a more complex taste.

The dough looks similar to the dough we use to make chapatti. Also can i use whole wheat flour. Or half and half of all purpose flour and whole wheat flour. Love from Pakistan.

I am Indian we call it roti rather than chapati .(only in northern india)

Hi Gemma- I wish I new this before the covid-19 came. I ran out of yeast and stores didn’t have yeast or flour to sell. I have plenty of flour. I never thought of making pizza dough without yeast. You taught me and next time I will give it a go. I subscribed cause just love your simplicity in cooking and making bread and dough. Thank you!

Yes, you can freeze the dough. I do not recommend that you put the toppings already as the dough would soak in all the sauce before you bake it.

For years I was stumped on how to make a great pizza. I found this while looking a pizza recipe without yeast. It tasted great! Note though, I used an air fryer. Thanks for the recipe, will continue to use this.

Gemma, I’m wondering if you can take some coconut flour and coconut oil instead of the olive oil and regular flour to make more of a sweet pizza crust? 🤔 My uncle loves coconut so I’m wondering if this recipe might still work with those substitutions.

I have not tried this personally. But you can experiment if you want. The coconut oil would be no problem. But with coconut flour, as it does not work the same way as wheat flour. You can add maybe 10-25% at most. You can start out low then increase as you see fit. Coconut flour will not hold together the same way as wheat flour. So you need both coconut and wheat flour. Give it a go! Let me know how you go about. Would love to learn from you too!

Omgg i remember being a subscriber back in middle school when you had like 200k. I used to watch your channel every day after school. And now im a senior in high school. This channel was the main reason why i started cooking and baking 😌 i remember all those mug cakes i used to make. Quarantine made me go back and watch all the channels i forgot about 😂😂
