It’s not just lately, many have for a couple years now. Go read some of the independent review forums for that company… they’re not good. The quality of their products is questionable. Not sure if they send the influencers the better stuff to deceive the other buyers or what, but something doesn’t quite add up.

I like your styling choices. I yearn for the day more people go back to wearing timeless classic well-made clothing. It doesn't have to be expensive and clothes can last when we take good care of them. The Princess of Wales just wore a beautiful burgundy outfit (pantsuit?) with a pink silk bow-tie blouse, she looked amazing in it! I love that color combination. My neck and upper chest skin is so sensitive that I have to wear a collared shirt, or silk scarf, even under good cashmere sweaters.

I love your fashion choices. This may be nitpicking and maybe it’s because I am a history buff, but the picture of Jackie O in the pink suit with the flowers while lovely and inventive ( It was a Chanel inspired suit that was made for her) was the suit she was wearing in Dallas when JFK was killed. This video is months old and I’m sure that you did not know but it evoked very strong memories when I saw it. Blessings

Beautiful. Most of my wardrobe has come from Lily Silk over the last decade or so. This brand is at the top of my price range, but it’s worth it for the high quality and the prices are fair, not just increased by an order of magnitude for a designer label. I just buy a few perfect items at a time from LS, and a few other brands like Quince, Equipment, Theory, etc.), instead of tons of fast-fashion pieces for the same budget amount. This has gradually upgraded my wardrobe to a classic, elegant and luxuriously comfortable one. My LS wish items: a white, thick silk knit turtleneck (the one they have is thin, so the neck won’t stand, but is great for a first layer), and lighter-colored dresses and bottoms, all with elastic waists. I love cashmere, but I have to wear it only in removable outer layers because I eventually overheat otherwise. I just ordered a silk-knit short, not-very-casual, hoodie from Theory in light blue (thanks to Black Friday pricing), and I’m so excited to get it. This is the kind of thing I love to wear: easy, super-comfortable, simple items in luxury fabrics. I do think an elegant version of a pullover (no zipper, etc.) hoodie, like this one, is now classic.

I drew so much inspiration from this video. We are in Summer here in Australia but making notes for next Autumn/Winter. I don’t have a houndstooth coat only a camel one as we don’t have call to wear a lot of overcoats.However I bought a beautiful houndstooth scarf so going to wear this with a black blazer or coat and a white jumper and black jeans or pants.I also like royal blue with black. I love true white, it looks so much better on me than those yellowish ivory, cream or ecru colors. But, it’s getting so hard to find, except in basic tops and summer cotton dresses. In natural fibers like silk and wools, it can’t really be achieved because strong bleaches can’t be used on those protein-based fibers. So I compromise on those, but purchase items as close to white as I can find. We also have a lot fewer items offered here in the US than the UK. I’m always seeing great white items on UK Zara, etc., but on our Zara website, it just isn’t offered, 90% of current clothes here only come in black or beige, including from Lily Silk, my fave. Light blues will be big in the SS23, why not offer some things in that color, it looks great on almost everyone.

Lovely outfits - a white coat is on my "bucket list" but highly impractical in our winters! Love a turtleneck, and even more so these days, as it warm and covers up the wrinkly neck. An observation - cashmere today is nowhere near as soft as it used to be in the past. I can remember buying merino wool sweaters in M&S back in the 60's which were softer than most of the cashmere today - and I've noticed that several cashmere manufacturers recommend a comb to get rid of the pills - which wasn't ever a problem in the past. It pays to look in vintage shops for cashmere too.

Closed captions are 😂!! You are wearing "belly" flats!! I want fashion retailers to come up with a color system. Such as navy number 3 will match every navy number 3. Have you tried to match reds, Navy's, tan, or sometimes even blacks! Unless you carry your whole closet with you, it's hard to match. Then there is trying to match anything on line!! Colors can be so distorted in print!!

Molloy even found that a person's personal coloring has nothing to do with how attractive other people thought they were in these colors, especially in the corporate, government, upper-middle-class, and upper-class milieux. In fact, he found that people who wore non-traditional colors, combinations, and prints were considered less attractive and lower class, no matter how much the colors flattered them personally. It's something to consider.

I am a regular viewer. Love your videos. But, today, your Jackie Kennedy picture of her in the pink suit.... That is a photo of her arriving in Dallas. That is the outfit she wore in the motorcade when her husband was assassinated. That is the suit she would not remove even when asked to change. She said she wanted everyone to see her husband's blood on her suit. It is a major trigger for some of us Americans to see her in that suit. I am sure you did not know this. The anniversary of his murder just passed and it is a day marked by Americans. I am sure you did not know this, so am just saying.

I just went through my account/orders menu online for returns. I haven’t had this problem, they have approved all my returns, but I do find their return process onerous. I ended up reselling some new items from them, I hate complicated returns to foreign countries, the forms, waiting twice in long lines at the Post Office with no air conditioning. (Have to wait once to learn the correct forms, then fill them out and wait in line again!). Then the shipping and insurance cost! I just learned to choose my size better, or order custom, it’s free at Lily Silk (most woven silk items, not knits, takes about three weeks for delivery, vs. one for standard stock).🙂
