I believe when we say vest, it may be called a waist coat in Canada and elsewhere. We typically call the ones you showed a puffer vest, and it is outer wear. However, glad you showed this one because it is popular and quite hard to be stylish while wearing one. These are great ideas because I prefer these in the winter. Amazing what the addition of scarf can make. Thank you so much for all of these wonderful ideas. I will be referring back to these when I get stuck.

A gilet is a sleeveless cardigan, a garment that is originally worn as part of a three-piece suit, which is formed by the combination of jacket, trousers and vest. That’s wat we mean in the Netherlands, France , Spain, Portugal etc.. A peace that is very on trend these days.

When you come back could you do a real vest and not a puffer gilet? All u saw all summer was sleeveless vests until I was actually very tired of them and was looking forward to an elegant way to wear one with something under it. Hoping you will attempt it next

This is a funny outfit. I would never where it anywhere except to ride a horse. I can't imagine wearing it to my office job or running to Costco on the weekends. The outfit here in the US is a little much. People would think, who does she think she is or where is her horse in the parking lot? Lol

I think she meant vest tops, not vest jackets. Vest tops were a staple fashion statement this year. the original commenter said she takes vests on business trips, which means vest tops, becasue those can be paired with tailored pants for a business chic look You got it wrong

These outfits can easily be recreated with other sleeveless tops. I'll definitely try outfit number 2 with my black waistcoat, and number 3 with a red sleeveless cardigan and a Burberry scarf (different colors, but similar vibe)😊
