I bought some red white and blue lights yesterday so this inflatable would go PERFECT

Before buying classic inflatables, I always check with the seller where the item was stored, how many times its been used, etc. If the item was stored in an attic or shed, its junk unless you can utilize the fan, or find a way of sealing or adding fans. Keep in mind stronger fans dont always work because the extra force might cause the air to seep out.

Exactly WHAT are the problems with flex seal and other sealents?

More temporary of a fix than using the extra fan. I’ve heard instances where the flexseal melts off or just doesn’t work as well as it should.

Looks nice. I’ve always wanted a vintage Gemmy patriotic, however as you mentioned durability has been my biggest hold back. I was thinking about getting the air characters knock off that doesn’t have any text on it like the two originals from Gemmy. However, air characters can also have cons including the fact that stitching isn’t always as high quality as Gemmy. Although, I look forward to expanding my patriotic display lineup and getting a video up on it soon. Nice review, are you going to do a patriotic display this year?
