As a kid i loved it, but my father lost it in the garage for 15 years i think, but last year he found it at last ! Unfortunately he's broken and don't talk anymore, so i was nostalgic to be able to listen to one sound of my childhood !

*TO THOSE WHO ARE ASKING WHY HD AUDIO!!* So what happens is that he probbably hooked his mic into the aux input on the tree. Yeah guys its possible! Feedback comes from the aux and therefore audio is HD! I have done it before XD

RiskFX no. You connect the wires from the patch cord DIRECTLY ON THE SPEAKER. There was no feedback from the AUX input

We've had 2 of these, they both played the same songs in the same way, they both playing what I believe is called Up on the housetop and Jingle Bells, the latest one we have now is really small and its eyes don't light up, they're not supposed to, and it doesn't have an AC Adaptor socket on it like the older ones did.

I always hated those talking trees I had a childhood nightmare on those trees. Scared the crap out of me as a child so yeah as of today those two still scared the crap out of me Douglas the talking tree relic Douglas the scary tree because I can scare the crap out of me ever since I was a little me and my mom and my sister really used to live on a street called colonial and I was in Rockford and I'm we had one of those my sister was scared of it and I'm scared of it and that's one of my nightmares that I can never seem to get rid of in my childhood memories just a big old nightmare I'm worried that those bendable comes alive and attack and some people I'm coloring myself if any of you have gotten scared by this time let me know cuz I'm still scared and I'm 22 worlds that's how old I am I'm 22 years old and it's been about five and a half maybe six years maybe it since it's been since I had one but stinks that scares me I recommend if you're scared of this thing I recommend you to get rid of it because even though I look at it it's still looks evil but that's just me.

Douglas Fir debuted in 1997. The 1996 date is the date of design. The adapter has a manufacturing date of July 1997.
