Nice down-to-earth presentation. I’m getting the message that trust is what you need to avoid a costly mistake. This has been your theme in a couple of episodes. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and advice.

Thank you Leah - Absolutely on trust being essential. I think deep down, most people already know it, but they still want to hold the power in their hands and try to outsmart the cunning and gain advantage. I understand the appeal, but the fact is that there are more fish in the pond, and the people that get to the truly world-class, olympus high-value stones have gotten there over a long time, with integrity. Deceit limits your network and people become less interested in dealing with you, so that costs you time and opportunity. SO really~! Finding folk with integrity is a good way to filter out the game-players and get quality stones. Happy Hunting Leah~

Peter, I am so appreciative of these videos. I'm newer to gem collecting and quite obsessed, but overwhelmed. There's so much info out there....and then tons of fake gems. But, all of the information to research is just as exhilarating. These videos are great! Thx!

I think that universal gemology is very necessary to study to know all the details about minerals, geology and others, why, in fact, people who live in India or countries rich in precious stones have never studied at a university and instead know more about the subject in precious stones why daily they have these routines that make you acquire an exhausting experience in which to work primordial. I think that many people who study a university degree tend to never pick up a book again and fall into recognizing real stones

I sent GCi a message. I hope I can send them a few stones. Their prices are hard to argue with, even with shipping.
