Yeah probably turbo would be the most likely guess, check your intercooler for oil

Gotta go Genpu mate, but I might be bias. Honestly do prefer the second gen though. A bit less subtle of a sleeper, but even with the smile I think they look better, more like a hot hatch. A bit more attitude.

I've owned both, and they have pros and cons in both generations, but I tend to see more gen1 speed3 modded and stock running longer than the gen2 my gen1 went to about 215k miles before I sold it, I've owned 2 gen2 and the really starting having issues at around 90k miles...but I like both I do prefer the looks of the gen1 over the gen2

This is probably a stupid question but i can't decide. Im looking in buying a new car and im stuck between a gen 1 and a gen 2. They both are the same price but the gen 1 is a 07 with 139k miles while the gen 2 is a 2010 with 149k miles on. Idk how to go about it, any input you guys might have would be greatly appreciated in deciding between these two beautiful vehicles 😅

I mean me personally I would go for gen 1. Because imo the gen 1 looks better than the gen 2. But if you don’t care for looks and just looking for a daily the gen 2 mechanically is better. They fixed most of the problems that the gen 1 problem has engine wise.

Gen 2s got longer gearing because of the torque steer. Says enough 😁 In honesty, Gen 1s are like the new Civic Type R and Gen 2s are like the previous type R. They're essentially the same, but one screams in your face, the other is subtle. Just depends on what you prefer
