GEN 2.0 FRACO EXOSKELETON BY MAWASHI

This week, the Fraco team had the chance to visit Mawashi, the manufacturer of our exoskeleton for Masons & Bricklayers.
The exoskeleton has gone through many versions over the years. When developing a new product, the goal is not to have it out as soon as possible - the goal is to make sure that its purpose is fulfilled, and that it will offer value to its users. And that’s what Mawashi did. Their team never lost patience, and they persevered through the versions to finally be able to present Gen 2.0.
We are so impressed by the suit, and can’t wait to be able to get it out at large. We have tested with masons & bricklayers in Quebec, in the design lab, on site, and we are confident that this version is the one that will bring you and your team the prevention tool you need to work for many, many years.
In the coming weeks, Mawashi will provide the Fraco team with a tool to measure the curvature of the backs of the users of the exoskeleton, and we will be able to, one by one, come back to the first people that gave us deposits for the suit, and for everyone interested after that!

This is super super cool, and it looks like you may be able to attach a backpack battery pack like the Makita ConnectX, Ego, Husqvarna etc.

Maybe hybrid is next, when extra power or strength is needed the battery kicks in, but it's just an aid and not to be used constantly battery wise.
