Thanks for a great video showing the two up seat with someone actually sitting on it. I needed to see that perspective for my wife. Great job!

Yall are doing a great job with your videos! Keep up the good work. I'm enjoying learning about sleds like yall are. I'm in the states... Pennsylvania to be exact. We dont get enough snow here to justify buying a sled, but I do enjoy getting my RZR out in the woods and having fun with friends. Cant wait to see your video on your first trip out on the sled!

Great video. Thanks for making it, it helped out a lot. Is there any chance you could show a picture of the front clips that the front of the seat clips on. My backcountry sport didn't come with them. I need to order them to finish up this project. Thanks again

I would suggest that you stud your track and add more carbide under the skis. With the winters we are having the trails will ice up. Also the intended purpose of the velcro in the center of the sled cover is to gain access to the handlebar for moving the sled, while covered, on or off the back of a truck or trailer. Those footprints on the cover is where you place your feet when moving the sled.

Wow, neat! Thanks for sharing that little tidbit of information haha #noobs. That will save us a lot of time in the future. So happy to have learnt this early on in the game. Thanks again! - Cassandra

Ya did well Kyle.... the snowmobile is trail ready with your license and sticker. The trail pass is in the right place. Insurance could be had from TD Insurance. They are the cheapest and very good with snowmobilers. Couple of observations : - 1. Snowmobiles need to be moving fast (50 klicks ; ) so that snow lubes the sliders and gets on the heat exchangers to cool the engine down. 2. Get rid of the Tim Horton's bitter coffee : ) ... buy a Nespresso Vertuoline with Aerochino. They are on sale now and you won't regret it. 3. Don't worry about the heated rear handle grips..... Cass can slide her hands under your butt .... hehe. 4. One trail pass is good for anywhere in Ontario ..... right now, Cochrane and the Northern Trails seems to be the place to ride. I just came back. The trails are like the 401 ..... wide, straight, smooth so that you let 'er rip. Cheers and I hope to see you on the trails sometime ..... I usually ride up the middle of Pigeon Lake to Buckhorn, then to Harcourt do a loop.... then to Bobcaygeon, jump back to Pigeon Lake then boot it home.

Does yours sag like crazy with the two of you on it? I did the 1+1 for my XRS and the damn thing makes us feel way heavier than we actually are haha. I've put my second set of springs on (upgraded touring springs) because the factory touring ones weren't cutting it.

hi just had a quick question about how did the sledge hammers work in the snow ? thanks
@MainvilleATV5 жыл бұрын
Hey, it's Cass here! The Sludgehammers worked great in the snow; that being said, I was limited by the power of the Kodiak so it's a little hard to tell if it was just a lack of power or if I was limited by the tires too. I didn't dig myself into any holes like the assassina did though ;) Hope that helps!

For the record, I was referring to deep snow. They do perfectly fine in the winter otherwise, like on trails and whatnot.

@@MainvilleATV Just picked up today Renegade Backcountry X 850 2021 today. and got the 1+1 seat. Of course I have the heated grips up front. But to keep the wife happy in the back. Was just wondering if you heard any comments if they really work as well as the ones up front. Because they use a Y splitter from the rear tail light wire with quick connect, and the tail light wire is just a 14 guage can't produce that much heat? Thanks Mate

I dont have them, personally. What I can say is skidoo is engineering team wouldnt do you wrong as far as the right wiring. That being said it can be better. Considering the battery is right under the passenger seat you can wire it how ever you like.

I can't imagine how deformed the rear of your 1+1 seat looked like after a few months ...left my ROC on overnight as you did at the end of your video and the stitching was permanently deformed, as well it had rained slightly and because the cover is not designed for that seat it pulled back the vinyl and exposed the foam under the seat causing it to get wet.... BEWARE!!! ROC is not intended for use with the 1+1 seat.
@MainvilleATV2 жыл бұрын
Hate to break it to you but it's perfectly fine. The cover I have is intended for the seat.
