I’ve got the SE headers on my 2017 L86 in my 67 c10 and noticed there is not much clearance between one of the passenger side tubes and my battery cable to starter connection. My starter connections face the header tubes. What starter did you use? Did you run into any issues with that?

Stock oem starter was used I know it’s close but no issues, I will have to look again next time I am at the shop.

@@JustCantSitStill thanks for the reply. I’m thinking of clearancing that tube. I’ve put over 6000 miles on the setup with no issues but dang it’s close. Getting ready to leave for the Hot Rod Tour of Texas in 10 days. Hoping for good weather in Central Texas. Let me know what you find/think when you check your starter/header tube distancing, I value your opinion. Thanks

did you buy a connect and cruise package form someone or just pull one yourself and figure it all out?

Hey Wesley it was just a pull purchased from LS LT swap king, his information is in my description, he gets the engines provides the wiring harnesses and etc. Thanks buddy for subscribing and watching.

Thanks my 383 is toast so am going to go with the L86 8 speed combo just long for the best package I can.

@@lowriddin99 definitely would be a great choice, we started with the LS platform and will still do them but the LT makes more stock and response great. If I was building anything right now I would do a L86 with a small TSP cam and some long tubes. If your interested he ships all over, it would arrive on a pallet ready to install and run, 2 of my other videos show the engines running on a pallet.
