I own a gen2 parka did not notice the differences with 3gen. The jacket itself is good, except that I wanted all the zippers to be ykk, and not just the outer main one. Stronger button, as my contact surface came off. And I would also like some kind of connection between jackets in the back in the ass(not fat)/belt areas, since during high physical exertion with a backpack (without a belt attachment), my upper water-repellent layer lifts up, the insulation layer does not lift up. Maybe with a small Velcro or with a button or another thoughtful construction. Great jacket with classic pocket system configuration!

The main difference should be that the "inner jacket" is a padded synthetic jacket and not a fleece jacket anymore.

Škoda že bunda nemá utažení u krku. Uniká teplo a nepříjemné při větru. Jinak provedení a materiál ok.

@@TomSP9TL It'll always depend on your layering, layering materials (down > merino > fleece) and activities. If you're out and hiking up a trail and wear a merino mid-layer, I can see this jacket perform well down to -15°C. If you're just standing around with nothing but a T-Shirt underneath, you might get cold even above zero.
