Fellow GenXers here, our only concern is wasting time working when we could be retired. It’s finding the sweet spot of having enough money to have what we need, and a little more and get out young and still very active.

Exactly....there is more to life than working but not living. We will slow down, things will be harder, opportunities missed as we age and don't seize our time back
