In your video editing program of choice you can remove the right audio channel and clone the left channel onto the right ear. that way you can fix the broken stero sound and have mono audio.

I actually used the Plusle in a casual run. The fact that it gets boosted EXP made it really easy to use and it's surpringly strong. I ran a Rain Dance Thunder set and had it support my water type. Was a lot of fun!

I do the same! Plusle and Feraligatr work seriously well together in this, since the Shadow Croconaw comes with Surf and gets Rain Dance upon purification.

Thanks Kole! Yup so I pinned a comment but I made a mistake setting up my new mic. I was recording in stereo sound when it should have been in mono. If you change the sound from stereo to mono for this vid on your end, it’ll be fixed Apologies for this! It will be fixed in future videos (except for my failed Phanpy, which is a fail already 😭)

Hey Gen3Hunter, congrats on this grail!!!! I really appreciate your in-depth analysis and passion! I wouldn't consider myself a shiny hunter but I want to start a few hunts as I replay through all of 3rd gen. So I wanted some advice from an expert. I'm currently 2.7k SRs for a shiny Charmander and just wondering if you could offer some insight. I've never shiny hunted full odds, so the 1/8192 is pretty daunting for me. Since you and other shiny hunters have crushed out those odds time and time again, does it ever get any easier? Since each encounter is 1/8k and you don't actually make "progress" with each roll, is there a point where you just keep going till you get it? What I'm trying to say is, is there any advice you can give on how to keep motivated during the bulk of a hunt? Since I'm playing through all of gen 3, I want to get this starter for the save but I'm finishing up on Sapphire and I want to start Kanto soon. Just excited to be starting from scratch, so any new Pokemon feels special. Sorry for the incoherent message lol. Thanks for the awesome videos!

I wonder if Skrub’s secret ID is always the same. If it is someone could find out what it is and then some crazy person could reroll their own secret ID until it matches by restarting the game over and over. Then they could hunt the hitmontop and become the only person to have a retained shiny shadow Pokémon. Is this possible @TheGen3Hunter?

I old never Shiny Hunt Colosseum. Especially this one. Long unskippable cutscenes and you need to beat the 2/1 odds the game puts against you. Also his name is Skrub. Like the game looked into the future and picked the most mocking name imaginable.

Using RNG manip and knowledge just to get the same PID/SID as Skrub would allow the shiny to always sparkle and match yours? I wouldn't say that's outside the realms of legitimate full odds hunting, just it being sent out shiny being enough...
