More mega xl!!! Very cool. Very loud. This the same blaster that dr.flux showed off a while ago? Love it. Wish I had the resources to design some mxl blasters/mods myself. Hope people keep making stuff for mxl. It’s just way too fun of an ammo type. Mega is cool but mxl is a different beast. It’s hard not to giggle every time you launch one of those giant darts. Also while the whistling effect is fun, it would be great if someone designed a more accurate mxl dart.

I've owned my Hammerwald for about 10 months now and this is my opinion on it: My Boomdozer has been modded with a cut down K26 spring and as such, my Boomdozer actually shoots a bit further than my Hammerwald. It's not anymore accurate, just simply shoots a bit further. The Hammerwald is hands down my favorite blaster. It's best used in low FPS games, HvZ, or CQB games. You're better off shooting the 4 dart cartridges (shotgun?) because, as you can see, the Mega XL rounds are highly inaccurate but in my case, I did specifically build this blaster to shoot Mega XLs. The wheels will chew up the Mega rounds, and eventually, the heads will come off the Megas as witnessed here. If you're building one, and I do recommend that as it's the cheapest route, you're doing so because you simply love the look of this blaster. You can have the snub nose (this video) or the long nose (Dr.Flux video). Just know you'll have no FPS advantage with the long nose. It just looks awesome-er. This is essentially a Spring Thunder on steroids. I also own a Spring Thunder and I'd recommend this over it. Why? It essentially does the same thing but with a super smooth and EASY prime over the ST, which has a much harder prime. The hardware on Spring Thunder also comes loose after every game and sometimes during matches. When you order the special wheels for the Hammerwald from Germany, I highly recommend you buy 2 simply because you're already paying for overseas shipping, so why not have an extra set?

Just picked up a boomdozer and plan on a k26 spring like what you did a while ago. It has a 40mm grenade launcher feel. Was admiral willow(unsure of spelling) using a stock dozer?
