a sturdy laundry basket is great as a bassinet, very easy to move the baby around the house and outside with you and can be used after the baby grows too big for it. You can never have enough flannels.

I've been watching your channel since you were in the Scamp, cooking inside and outside, when Camp was an only dog. I've watched Elsa make jewelry and I've watched Barron lying in pools of ice water (eeeek!). I remember when you bought your land and how happy you were about that. I remember you living in the A-Frame. I watched your folks and your friends helping with the new house...and I was here to be with you virtually when you lost your baby last year. I've watched you add all the nice things to your home and truly enjoy seeing both of you being so happy with your home. I share your excitement over the imminent arrival of your little girl. I think you are both super people and I'm so glad to be able to follow your channel. I loved seeing Barron chopping all that wood and I loved seeing you working on that basket. You guys inspire me!

We have 3 daughters, no sons. I love being the dad of daughters! Barron you will be a great dad! When we had our 3rd we decided not to learn the gender. So one day I was on patrol and started panicking, thinking if the baby was a boy what the heck would I do! Had to pull over for a few minutes. So when she was born I cried for joy and relief! 30 years later I’m still enjoying being the dad of 3 women! Take care.

When your little girl is older, and you begin to read chapter books together, a book journal you keep together will be so precious to you. I've been keeping a book journal with my 13 year old since he was six. We've read hundreds of books over the years. It's wonderful to go back and see our reviews and remember him how he was at that time 😍

So I had many pairs to get cleaned up, so I felt like if I lost a pair experimenting in the wash machine , it'd be OK. So I just went for it! Which also brought me to add leather jackets and purses and bags to the machine also and I'm just amazed! No issues at all. ALL GOOD! It just makes life so much easier and gets everything so much cleaner that I could ever do by hand! So... I hope this idea also helps you out to one day! Again, congratulations on the baby girl! If you cosleep/bedshare with your baby I highly recommend a king!! We never thought we'd want a bed that big but it's so luxurious. My son was 7 months when we made the switch and it was sooo much easier to nurse laying down at night without having to have my husband switch sides of the bed haha. We put it on the floor for saftey and at one point we had a king and a twin side by side when we had baby 2!

He’s doing great!! Sometimes I show a lot of Pilot and people think something happened to Kamp. Then I’ll show a bunch of Kamp and people will think something happened to Pilot! I do my best to show them equally but don’t always do a great job haha. Kamp is loving all the snow we just got. He turns into a puppy and could stay outside forever, but we have to be careful still. Even at almost 11 he loves to go into freedom mode and wander off after rabbits and chipmunks!

If you're enjoying ACOTAR, I wanna suggest you try the Throne of Glass series by the same author, Sarah J. Maas. Its hefty...8 books in the series and the last few are BIG. But if you love a good long storyline with twists and turns, following multiple sets of characters and fantasy/romance/found family, then you will LOVE it! I loved ACOTAR, but Throne of glass was even better in my opinion! I don’t know your friends that don’t want children, but I wanted to offer some perspective. Even though they don’t want children of their own, they want to support you and your family. I guess what I’m saying is don’t discount people just because they choose not to have something you want, but they don’t give them the opportunity or the chance to be involved in your life your friend for a reason am I bring them joy to you support you and something that makes you happy.

Y’all know your friends better than we do… maybe you’ve talked to them about this. But if you haven’t I’d encourage you to see how or if they’d like to be involved. Friends left me out when I was single and child-free because they thought I’d be offended or wouldn’t understand, and it was heartbreaking. Friends are friends through whatever transition. I still don’t have kids but I love them and love supporting my friends with them. It takes a village to raise a child and there’s nothing cooler than a little human who’s a mix of two people you love.

I hear you in this, I really do. I just don’t want to bother anyone in my tiny town or feel like I’m asking people to come together to celebrate me. If I had a group of girlfriends around me who wanted to plan something that would be one thing! I just.. don’t have that lol. It’s not very deep. And this is not me self-pitying. We simply live in a very isolated area. The people who have shown most interest and care in my being pregnant are here on KZbin, or are friends spread across the country, not in person. It’s a wild thing, I promise you that! And I’m so grateful for it. Strangers coming out of nowhere to share with me their stories and experiences and wisdom. I’m glad to have FaceTime and audio messages to hear from the friends I don’t get to see. It’s all very wonderful.
