I met Gene in Richmond Va at the Jefferson hotel when the making of the band came through on tour. I saw something that night that was strange as hell. and I asked Gene in a joking way, where Diddy was. Being Diddys room is always on another floor from everyone else. Gene knows what he's talking about when he mentions Diageo. When Diddy tried to sue Diageo, that's when he bit the hand that fed him. Diageo was basically welfare for Diddy. He got 1.5 billion over ten years and did next to nothing for it. He only invested 1k into the liquor brands he brought to them but retained ownership of. He did nothing to build those brands, he just put his hand out and demanded money. When Diddy sued Diageo last year, he won the ruling in one of the early court hearings and yet within months he settled the case giving Diageo everything and getting nothing in return. Lawsuits take years and yet Diddy gave up everything without a fight in 6 months. He gave up all ownership, all future income, ownership of the brands he owned, made a public statement admitting they never did anything racist to him, and he walked out with nothing. That's when Diddy knew he was really screwed.They probably had a couple CIA agents kidnap Diddy and hold a gun to his head to get that settlement. That's when his masters cut ties, withdrew their protection then fed diddy to the wolves. All these black "billionaires" in music are one act of rebellion away from going from billionaire to broke. They did it to Kanye now they are doing it to Diddy.
