Gene Kranz is a world treasure. AND one of the most captivating speakers I've ever heard live. If there's more of this interview, please PLEASE give us an unedited version!

Good stuff but I'd be very happy with another hour of mission control and Gene Kranz. When I was 7 or 8 I thought he was the coolest guy on earth with the best job on earth!

I tremendously hope that he lives long enough to watch the artemis programs thrive!

His Voice in the album Race For Space by Pubic Service Broadcasting is just perfect. His voice in my eyes is more famous than a certain Mr Armstrong's

Gene Kranz coined the phrase "tough and competent", which became known as the "Kranz Dictum". His appearance would often consist of a close-cut flattop hairstyle and mission vests of a variety of different styles. His vests were created by his wife Marta Kranz.

If only NASA today had this drive and such a man as director... we would maybe on Mars by now..... Apollo was our crowning achievement as a race of people. 50 years + on... we do nothing but orbit ... we knew how to do that in the early 60's I saw some of that.... Its money ... and greed the advancement of humanity can only be gained if a monetary system isnt in place. We have resources to do much...., feed all...., provide energy , But we are stuck, it will be the downfall of this corrupt empire. I doubt we will ever land people on Mars... Star Ship is a joke.. and many people are getting sick and tired of this garbage. Get to space or not... explore with crewed space flight, or not.... DECIDE. AND DO IT.. or not. Stop justifying your existence by the premise of spending money to keep a program in place. Again Mr. Kranz.. if he is able should be back at NASA and kick their butts ! Maybe we will go somewhere.

Sadly he has passed away but don't forget the contribution of the father of Mission Control Chris Kraft.
