My big brother introduced me to this band in the 1980s. I lost him this past June to leukemia. I dream of him jamming to this song somewhere up there among the stars. I wish the Aston brothers would reconcile. Life is too damn short.

This was the glory days of MTV in the first few years and I remember this song in the summer of 1987, when I had just turned 20 and had my whole life ahead of me. What I would not give for just one day to go back to that year. Good friend of mine married a girl from Long Island whose brother-in-law was one of the principles of MTV, and it truly was a music revolution when they came on the air in August of 1981. I felt so lucky at the time to be in that moment, although this video almost ruined this song!

They played at my college in 1988. I was only twelve but that would have been an awesome concert! The venue was small but great. I saw No Doubt there in 1996 and a few other bands. Of course that venue is long gone now along with everything else that used to be great.
