I'm 33 - 9/11 and the war in Iraq and Afghanistan....I was young but I remember being terrified that the US would get hit again. I remember on the news channels and weather channel that would have a threat level meter showing, for nearly a year after 9/11 that shit stayed in the red. My parents divorced....all my brothers friends parents were divorced and by the time I had my own son, his friends are either single parents or in toxic af relationships. Family values aren't anything what they used to be when I was young. And they're nothing like what I would think they were like when you were a kid? These kids now....they're channeling pain, fear, love, betrayal.... they grow up faster and faster every year. It's sad. Anyways.... I read your comment and understood exactly what you meant, I love music from that time 60s-70s and there are several newer artists and songs that I get similar vibes from....not as if they're copying a sound, it's a combination of music and lyrics for me.... anyways....after reading your comment, these were my thoughts. 🙃 Good day to you, sir!✌🏿❤🤘🏻
