His music was only getting better and better, he had so much more to offer. As someone who loved rap of the 90s and early 00's he made me fall in love with hip hop again. RIP Mac, I wish we could have more of you.

Everytime I come back to this song I understand what he's saying more and more. Like when he's talking about riding around in his city when he comes home, the sun setting quickly and getting up slow. He's talking about his own mind, when he's finally come down off his high he is quickly greeted with darkness. What an amazing track!

I feel like this album was an amazing step for him.. He was growing and evolving into a new sound, that nobody else had. It also felt like on ‘Swimming’ , to me, it was him sort of wrapping up a chapter of his life. Starting anew I think. But no one really knows what was going in his head, except him. It’s a tragedy of huge proportions.

read in the comments on one of his instagram photos, someone wanted to do harm to him because of some issue and somehow they gave him the wrong drugs or something tainted instead. Who knows, wonder if they'll ever release toxicology reports.
@cassandra6533Ай бұрын
Not to discredit or agree with any theories on his passing, but I don’t think the fent was given to him unknowningly because he actually briefly mentioned fent in one of his songs years ago. And he probably was ready for a new chapter of his life and sobriety but the unfortunate thing with addiction, even in recovery is that it’s still a medical condition and there is always a chance of relapsing and unfortunately with opiate addicts the relapse is so much more dangerous because the person will smoke “normally” as they did when they were a regular user only their tolerance is non existent now so they end up accidentally overdosing. I wish so badly that someone could have saved him. I really don’t think he intended to die. Some people are lucky enough to get narcan or cpr in time to survive the OD and it’s so fucking tragic that didn’t happen for Mac.

I know you're not with us anymore and you're time has come to an end, but know that you built something out this world, something that's never going to die, you built an indescribable feeling that we can all sense every time we listen to any of you're songs, it doesn't matter how many years pass, that feeling is always going to live, and for that I say Thank you Malcolm, Rest In Peace.

@trevormynatt3466 why are u judging that this person chose this track to comment on? Mac miller saved so many lives, and continues to save them by making living easier for us because we had and have his music to keep us going. The coffin is a huge Tarantino reference - Mac loved movies, had impeccable taste, and was inspired by other artists. Why are u doing the most to insert yourself and make this person feel invalidated when all they’re doing is expressing their gratitude and love? Like ew go comment ur curious quirky and shallow opinion of the video on the video if u absolutely must but not this comment. Godspeed man
