I actually appreciate that you showed how it WOULDN'T start. And then worked through to get it to start. With so many videos editing out things that went wrong, it's hard to know what to troubleshoot.

My first thought was no fuel to the carb. BTW do you mind sharing what the cost of the electric start PW is? Does that model have the selector control on the handle so you don't have to change nozzles? You made an important point by showing you can start it with the pull cord rather than the electric start button; handy if the battery is tired. I had a Delta brand with a Honda engine and spent more time trying to get it started then using it; finally just gave it away.

I don't remember the cost, you can look at home depot's website. It does not have an adjustment on the handle you have to change tips. There was plenty of fuel to the carburetor, the starter would just kick out before it cranked long enough to start and it wouldn't spin it quite fast enough

Electric start worked just fine once the engine was warm
