Generac 3100 PSI Power Washer Review (Electric Start)

I have one the electric start only worked about three times then quit. That was 4 years ago I've called generac several times so far they haven't done anything except take all my information and tell me to take it somewhere to be repaired however the closest place to me is 50 mi away I asked them to send me the switch they won't do it. The pressure washer itself seems to work okay but don't waste your money on the electric start model it's been recalled anyway for the electric start switch. From what I gather they say if you leave the battery in it it could start by itself that would be a miracle!

You put a strip of velcro tape on the wand holder; that would cushion it a bit and perhaps reduce wear. The Generac ad videos state that the selector on the handle eliminates having to change nozzles; I wonder if you can use an "all purpose" nozzle and use the selector.

Thank you. I almost bought one second hand, but, the man said the electric start is really hard to get it going.. He was not happy with it. Have you heard any bad reviews about this? Thank you.

Holy moly that thing is loud as heck! My neighbors will be calling the police at once. Lol 😅! So much for this particular brand. There goes my purchase. Lol...😂

Mine is a terrible starter. And after several tries it shuts down and won’t let you try again for several minutes. I hate it.

Have you adjusted the unloader to maximize pressure?

Yes there is a pull start on it too.

The one thing that you though was wood is actually a cleaning attachment you can buy for it. It's called a water broom Some actually come with it but it is for concrete driveways, decks you name it The one I am looking at has it.

I do not start mine without "Quick start" one spray into the air cleaner and it goes.
