Hi Christine! Try looking up CSA(community supported agriculture) or Farm Fresh To You. These are organizations that are more dedicated into working with farmers and are more transparent with their goals and work ethic. They are produce subscriptions that source from local farmers to your area and they are all along California! Just a ag student sharing a little secret
