This is my attempt at a tutorial, so I might as well upload it for April Fools.

UPDATE: The LADSPA plugins only work with the 32-bit version of Audacity. 32-bit versions should work fine on 64-bit computers.

I tried this, attempted to follow your advice to the letter and I was so consumed in becoming Grievous that, along the way, I completely forgot about the fact that I have a female voice, now I've got a recording of Femeral Grievous, or more accurately; a cyborg chain-smoking Slavic grandma reading Grievous's lines, and it is absolutely the best thing I have ever heard, thank you so much. I have gotten so much more than I initially bargained for. On my second attempt, I managed to sound more like Grievous actually sounds but fem Grievous was an insane messed-up masterpiece which I will constantly revisit for the rest of my life, she has become the crown jewel of my collection. Also, this is the only good Grievous tutorial ever, it gets to the point and it actually sounds accurate, thank you so much

Having an issue. It seems as though despite installing the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Audacity, and using the versions of the plug-ins shown in this video, one of them is always broken. On 64-bit Audacity, it's RoVee not enabling because the library could not be read. It's the same error message with 32-Bit Audacity, only it's LADSPA and something called "libfftw3f-3". Tearing my hair out over this, please help! And yes I'm aware that 64-bit addons won't work with 32-bit Audacity and vice versa; the fact that the plug-ins don't state their bit count is aggrevating :)

For my voice acting for General Grievous I decide not to use a voice changer. My voice has that all in itself. It’s pretty cool, and it has helped me a lot with voice acting

@@megi7276 nevermind i figured it out. If you click effects and then at the top click add plug-ins, keep scrolling down the list until you see FAST LOOKAHEAD or GIANT FLANGE and then enable. Hope this helps

This is dope. Though I would probably say your Rs are rolled too much. It’s more of a soft trip on them. And Count should have an audible T at the end. Otherwise, basically perfect. This is a neat trick.

@ I did, but the problem is, I dont know how lol. I just did the same thing again (extracting and stuff). But it still doesn't work, I only see Rovee in there but can't use it as a plugin. I gave up actually. Check the versions of Audacity and LDSPA. They should both be 32 bit tho, if Audacity is 64 bit, the LDSPA will not work
