By the way, controlling behavior goes both ways. Willow was just more subtle about it. She never had his back or solidly took his side about anything. Plus, let’s remember he did a lot of things simply because that’s what she wanted. He didn’t want to lie to chase, but he did because that’s what she wanted. He didn’t want Sonny at his wedding. I blame a lot of the people in Michael’s life for his lack of self esteem. He’s been made to feel for years like he’s wrong when he’s right and the villain in situations where he’s been betrayed. He’s also been extremely loyal to people who repaid him by taking the sharpest knife they could find and stabbing him in the back with it. I think that’s why Michael still wants to work things out with willow because he probably feels like he doesn’t deserve better than that.

Love the scenes between Isaiah & jordan when they saw eachother at the steamers & that they gotten locked 🔒 together when the door 🚪 was locked & was talking loving them more together too. As long they don't mess up there romantic black characters then I'm here for it. I have one more thing to say about Michael’s “controlling” behavior and then I’m done. In my mind, there are two types of controlling people: A. The abusive kind who tell their significant other what to do and who to be around simply because they want to have complete control over their partner. This type of controlling behavior is unacceptable. B. The well meaning, overprotective kind whose intentions are good and are only acting out of genuine concern for their partner. To me, Michael falls in the latter category. My god, think about everything that character has been through. It makes sense that he has control issues. Plus, we have to keep in mind the way Nina treated Michael and willow for a long time prior to Michael blackmailing her. She created that dynamic between her and Michael. Michael blackmailing her was him at his breaking point after dealing with her nastiness for two years. I will admit that despite Michael’s “controlling” tendencies coming from a good place, that he needs to work on that. My point is that I can tolerate and understand when those tendencies come from a good place rather than just wanting a stepford wife or a significant other that does whatever you say. By the way, I do think that Michael has gotten much better with that, which is why I don’t like that being used as any sort of justification for willow’s current actions.
