I dont watch General Hospital anymore but i watch clips of this couple when they have a story going on because they have a special connection and love the actors together, however this show doesn't know how to use them well, always giving them short stories that never last, when they can create magic with so little. I'm crying so hard. I haven't watched this whole episode yet. I clicked, just to see what the description was about. I'm hiccuping, full on choking crying. In 3mins and 46secs.. I'm a mess. I don't even really care for the "couple" that much.. But, this was extraordinary acting. "You have too move on.. Be happy. Take care of yourself." Just a show, and I'm in pieces. Billions of pieces.

I totally agree. The soap lacks the dimension it had in the 80's. Yes, I'm old. But these writers dont seem to have a sixth grade education. I am sick of these characters. the redhead who came off of Y&R needs to leave. I cant stand her looks. Genie needs a makeover and a better looking lead. I understand I'll catch flak but I don't need to see gay men walking around with babies. There used to be mature people connected to a family with continuity like ELQ if that's correct. On GH they are recasting the role of Valerie because Britney Sharpi left - why? She has no major role. They let Rebecca Budig go when she had a major storyline with Finn. They were getting ready to have a baby and she and Elizabeth were beginning to bond as being sisters. So is the TPTB doing the writing or telling the WRITERS what to write? Anyway it sucks!

They gave him a storyline where he left because the actor who plays Dante only agreed to do 10 episodes, which has now sadly been concluded. I think they should of recasted Dante in the months that DZ(Dante's actor) was gone from the show, that way he wouldn't of had to leave. No one wants him to be recasted(my self included, I can't imagine anyone else playing Dante), but I think that's what they are going to have to do, because no one knows if DZ will come back to the show or not.

Carrie Johnson Yes, but the original reason the actor left is because of his lack of material. Both Dante and Lulu were so good in these scenes. I just wish they were given material. Now, Lulu has to start over with another screen partner. It’s just frustrating. Write for the talent you already have.

@@LouisianaCityboi I absolutely agree with you there. Both Dominic and Emme are amazing actors, and they have amazing chemistry together, just like Dominic had with Julie. And not just with each other, but with the majority of the cast. I can understand DZ reason for wanting to leave the show, it will just be sad to really see him go and to get a potentially new person to play Dante. I agree with you though, have them write for the talent, and it is frustrating when so often they don't(at least for Dominic and Emme anyway).

He was back for 10 epsoides. the first 5 epsoides he was in Dante was in the country Turkey with Sonny. then they escaped and went back to port charles. so Domnic was in the show for 10 epsoides

We all remember how Dante reluctantly stopped at nothing when it came to Lulu suffering when she was kidnapped by Stavros Cassadine. What this executive has done to make Dante leave Lulu like this has made Dante to look weak. And we all know Dante was a heck of a lot stronger than this. At the very least, he should have had to leave because of a new mission that requested his services, not because of an eternal mind struggle with himself. This executive is clearly out of tough with this shows past, current and present GH audiences who have carried this show through viewership for a strong generalization of years. This concept that this executive character designates to harp on to coordinate d characters back and forth is the same tired recycled excessive subject matter that relates back to the MEMORY MIND MAP NONSENSE between Anna and Drew! Making the return of senior Michael Corinthos become an alchiemzer's character was a big slap to the rest of Gh classic audience members. And now the ever so saga of the forever so ridiculous self sabotaging on arrival brain tumor nonsense that this executive propagandizes the character FRANCO as a leg to stand on to escape justice continues thanks to all of these repetitive convient MIND over MATTER story lines.... it's become apparent that this exeutive goal is to showcase and exonerate the role Franco at the cost of ruining other characters and a story character's line's past. Making Anna lose Robin as a daughter just to have the audience be homed in on this MIND MAP nonsense is a slap to the rest of us GH true audience members. And now Dominic's departure is conveniently being used to advertise the relate-able concepts of those horrible MIND eternal struggle story lines. If this executive cared that much he would have made an off screen episode to bring and release Sean Butler from prison he has PTSD and that character would have been good to speak to Little jake during 2016 but instead that concept of someone for jake to talk to was shoved to the role of Franco just to promote wicked character and now we see constant other gh characters being maligned just to sell the same saga of Franco. WE have been going in circles with this gh executive well over since 2013 it's time to #FireFrank And It's horrible b\c Drew doesn't know who he is yet, and there is spoiler out here saying Anna is not Robin's mother. And then we have the Gh cast characters are being overly taxed to condone this character Franco. I clearly remember Carly was going to shoot Dante the day she found out Michael was raped in Prison because of Franco. I don't know how we got here but if Sami Rami was the Gh executive, this era of Gh would feel like HBO's tv show called POWER! IN fact that is how GH used to feel like during 80s - 2000s especially during Alexis's sisters funeral that was a most powerful episode of all time. Lorenzo Alcazar is dead characters like Manny Ruiz and Joe Scully Jr are relate-able to Franco. And they are also dead so Franco should be gone too. What this executive has done to Gh has become a burden to bare this albatross now looks like a canceled Soap show that is no longer on ABC and it looks like OLTL past story line of Michelle Lawrence comparable to Shiloh for the Dawn of Day. The same cycle of rhetorical nonsense the majoritarian of the Gh audience didn't ask for. #FireFrank That's all i can at the moment say. Take care.

I don't really watch this show anymore I did in the early 1980s when Luke was engaged in the Cassadine mystery after Laura vanished a sword or something was located with magical powers I kid you not with Scorpio and Dimi Moore was actually in it for about one year and Emma Samms they had a mysterious open-ended plotline like a Scooby Doo plot then I actually watched it when this actor first appeared he has a scene with Carly's young son-Nickolas? the original Micheal was his older brother the great actor they fired was in that year that original Lulu was really good but actors must stretch their wings and their wages like Steve Burton did for a while soap opera actors have tons of dialog to learn in a day it keeps them on their toes and many become movie stars or tv stars good luck to you Dominic

DZ only agreed to do 10 episodes, so he is sadly now gone. I think the only thing that can be done now is to recast Dante, which I know no one wants(myself included) but I don't know if DZ will want to come back to the show. Even though I don't know why they didn't recast him in the MONTHS that DZ was gone from the show. I can't even imaging anyone else playing Dante, but I think that is what it is going to come down to.
