The way Dante was written out was pour writing, all together. Including the way Lulu moved on almost overnight. Olivia has every right to be upset with how fast Dustin seems to be stepping her son's place in his family's lives, but she could've handled it more gracefully.

Dante is the one that left his family. He could have stayed married to Lulu but chose not too. ROCCO is Lulu's kid. She has every right to do what she wants with him and she doesnt have to ask Olivia for permission nor does Olivia get a vote. Lulu has been very patient with Olivia and her outbursts. Olivia needs to back off. Again DANTE is the one that left and told Lulu to get on with her life. So now shes being punished for trying to do just that.

@@DivorcedMommaDiaries2023 Rocco isn't moving on from his dad. His Dad is the one that left. Rocco's just dealing with the consequences of Dantes actions. It sucks but that's what it is. How is it any different then Luke getting with Tracy. Or Olivia dating while keeping Dante away from sonny when he was young or her other son away from his dad?. At least Lulu isnt keeping Dante away. Rocco has grown to LIKE Dustin. Unless he starts calling Dustin "Dad" there is nothing wrong with him liking him. He's making the best of a bad situation. Ned/Rocco arent close. So I dont really see him as "a good role model." Nor is Sonny/Luke or Nicholas. Lucky/Ethan are gone. Michael is busy and Kevin is in the same boat as Ned. Now All that said I'm a huge Lante fan at heart and I hope Dante comes back fights hard to win Lulu back and wins. Leaving Dustin to cry pathetically in his beer.

Dante walked away and nobody's heard from him except for Lulu when he sent her divorce papers, it's been over a year time moves on, he hasn't even written to poor Olivia just sent all her letters back unopened, Lulu deserves to be happy and Rocco deserves to be able to have a father figure in his life.

She isn’t allowing another man to be Rocco’s dad. at this point it’s not about how Dante feels it’s about what Rocco wants. It’s Dante chose your give up his daddy spot for now and Rocco should not have be left out of Daddy and me days or any type of special events because Dante is not able to be there at this time. Olivia is making it about Dante as opposed to thinking about Rocco and how he feels at this time. No matter what Rocco is going to keep getting older, and daddy days are going to keep coming...

Olivia has such a problem with Lulu moving on. Dante has problems that he has chosen to handle alone. Olivia should not expect Lulu and Rocco to suffer alone while Dante is gone. I get that she misses her child and it’s a sad situation but life has to move forward. Now, Dustin and Lulu should have either not said anything about the bring Daddy to school day or should have explained the situation before asking her about a cupcake recipe.

Were you not paying attention? Rocco came to Lulu and Dustin and asked for it to be Dustin. No one forced Dustin on Rocco, Lulu didn't go to her son and ask him to pick Dustin. It could have been Sonny or Michael or Ned, but guess what, he didn't ask for his grandfather, he didn't ask for his Uncle Micheal, nor he did ask for Ned. Plus Dustin is not stranger to Rocco. This is someone who is in his mother's life and thus his life and unlike his actual father he's there. And you can say well Dante left to protect his family, that's all well and good and I'm sure once Rocco gets older he'll understand that, but for right now all he knows is his father left him. And Dustin is there for him and his mother.

God, Lulu is so annoying in these scenes. Rocco is a young child. He can suggest all sorts of things, but that doesn't mean that Dustin should be there. Olivia is right that he should have taken one of his grandfathers or maybe Michael, you know, the boy's actual uncle instead.

Given how Lulu knows Olivia feels, why the hell would she ask Olivia to make treats for Dustin to go to Rocco's Father-Son event. Lulu didn't have to tell or involve Olivia in this at all. @@vistatrista7 or maybe Lulu is just tired of Olivia's interfering and that was her way of telling olivia that Dustin will be in Rocco's life. Olivia interfering is what is rude and inconsiderate. Especially since it was DANTE that was the one that asked for a divorce. Dante was the one that left his wife and children.( I say children because even though Charlotte is his step child they loved each other). Dante told her not to wait for him. Lulus just trying to create some sort of life for herself and her children and Olivia feels like shes ENTITLED to dictate to Lulu what she can or cant do. If Olivia wants to be apart of Rocco's life she needs to accept that his mother is going to try and find some sort of happiness. Dont get me wrong I'm a Lante fan. I have been from the beginning (I don't care for Dustin at all.) I'm hoping Dante comes back and fights like hell for Lulu and their kids. Dante is the one that tore his family apart and Lulu is just left with the consequences of that action. If Dante comes back he as a ton of work to do if he wants his family back.

Which one of his grandfathers? Sonny? You mean the one that Olivia CONCEALED for a majority of Dante's life? Or maybe Ned, the guy she tried to pass off as Leo's father to cut Julian out of his life? I think Olivia is reaching her because of her history with men and their children. She is afraid that Dante is going to erased from Rocco's life the way she erased Sonny out of Dante's and the way she tried with Leo and Julian. Like others have said, Dante left, literally abandoned his wife and child. I think Lulu wants Olivia to like Dustin because Olivia was a person that Lulu came to trust and count on. Olivia can't look past her own bias and see that this situation was created by Dante.
