You know what makes it worse? John Ingle had just lost his beloved wife Grace, in February 2012, right around the time this episode was taped. I think that took a lot out of him, since he passed away that September, six months after this episode aired.

You're right. Grace died February 11th 2012 and he died 7 months later on September 16th 2012. So sad. :( It is nice that he didn't have to be without his love very long.

I've heard of instances where when one spouse dies, the other soon follows. Thankfully, my father, who has been widowed for four years, is still active and vibrant, therefore it never applied with him.
