Little Adam Rich on a swing! Oh that innocence. So sad now. Love this old GH stuff and the old commercials. There are many, many playlists of this era. Wait a minute, had to add. I think that was Brynn Thayer making the steak sauce on chicken. I think she played Jenny on One Life to Live, or something like that. Whoa!

General Hospital was still taping at the Desilu-Cahuenga studios (later Ren-Mar,now Red Studios) back then. Seasons 3-6 of I Love Lucy and Seasons 3-7 of The Golden Girls were filmed & taped at this same studio facility. This is where Gloria Monty first moved the soap in Oct 1977 from their original smaller studio at ABC Television Center (Studio 51,now Studio 1,where Grey's Anatomy currently is produced),but by November 1978,they made another big move to ABC's leased studio facility at the Fountain Ave section of Sunset-Gower Studios,where they remained for 10 years until the move back to ABC Television Center (now The Prospect Studios,still owned by ABC/Disney) in a brand new studio (Studio 54,now Studio 4)built especially for them,where the soap remains today.

The summer of 1978 is when GH really started to take off and becoming more popular. Around this period the characters Heather Webber, Alan Quartermaine and Bobbie Spencer will be the focal point of this show (pretty much the villians) causing so much drama. Meaning, Heather discovering the Taylors adapted son PJ, is her biological son Stevenlars (that she gave up by the way on the black market) comes up with all kinds of schemes to get him back. Alan founding out that Rick and Monica had an affair, Monica might be pregnant with Rick's baby, Alan goes crazy and plots to kill them both. Bobbie founding out Laura was the one responsible for David Hamilton's death, gets with her brother Luke to plot, scheme to get Laura in trouble, so she can be with Scotty. Damn, GH was just phenomenal in the late 70s and early 80s.

Oh my Gosh!!! Is that Monica???!!!! (the first woman, blond ???!!!) I was still really young back then. I recognized Tracey in a second !! I tho't she was pretty, but, old!!! I recognized Monica by her voice. I read, decades ago, that the guy who played Alan Q. Really wanted to be a singer, not an actor. Then yrs. later, I found out that HE was Prince Charming, in Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella !!! 💗💗💗💗💗 Oh my gosh !!! McGuiver !!!! 😂😂😂 Seems like every female on the commercials has a Dorothy Hamill haircut !!!

Stuart Damon is the reason I started watching GH at age 10. My mom and older sister were watching one day I came home from school early. I immediately recognized him as the Prince from Cinderella and lost my mind screaming at the TV... "Mommy it's the prince!" Been watching GH ever since.

@tonakarambelas3350. It was Laura, (Leslie's daughter) who killed David Hamilton, after he rejected her, told her he didn't love her. They started to argue, he threw Laura's love letters, that she wrote to him up at the ceiling, Laura started to cry, got angry, screamed and that's when she pushed David, ran out the door as he fell and hit his head on the fire place. He got up at first, but fell back down and that's when he died. Leslie got to David's place about an hour later, that's when she discovered his body by the fire place.
