Especially when you have scenes that show how happy Luke was to be a father when Laura told him about Lucky and Lulu. Stupid rewrites of history is why they have Luke saying that.

The way they changed history Luke loved those things too. He loved Mary Mae & Justice & all the parental stuff w/Lucky 7 LuLu. Laura knew about his love of being on the road & went w/him for many times. Its just Tony wanted more time off than Genie did. Luke is making it seem like he hated being a father, etc

Why that’s so mess up considering how important his family was. I guess it reflected how he had fallen by being Sonny’s lackey. The character was at his best when he was slinging barbs at Tracy and the other family members.
