I really appreciated your little tire changing lesson. Came across this when trying to find a spare tire kit for my newly purchased 23 jeep renegade ..it is disheartening that vehicles don't have a spare..driving into wilderness without it is not going to work. Great refresher class.. Now..I hAve a decision to make on my purchase. Modern Spare might be exactly right for me

I thought you weren’t supposed to install compact spares on from wheels. 😮 They experience a lot more side force during turns than the rear. Maybe I’m just cautious but I would install the spare at the rear then swap the rear wheel to the front for safety. I don’t really like your example showing a front tire without at least mentioning if the modern spare is rated for that much side force especially on such a heavy vehicle.

I saw your kit for the "2017-2024 Toyota Prius (4th Generation)" on your website. I think it's supposed to be 5 bolts, but the picture shows 6.
