I'm French so for example we haven't the same aphorism and proverbs! but this is really great, what I appreciate is there are no choices possible! it's only about knowledge and not about luck! great work!

I did terribly! TV and films clobbered me, especially the American ones. Learned a bit though, so not all bad.

Marathon bar in US was totally different than Snickers. It was about 10 inches long, made of chocolate covered caramel in a sort of pretzel braided fashion. "Nobody eats a Marathon fast". I ate a bunch of them, slowly, and remember the ads. "Quick Claude" was my favorite.

It was always Snickers in the US. The UK changed the name in 1990 to match the US.

Going to have to question that shark one... while its true they have no ''skeletal'' bones , their teeth and jaws certainly are... so they have many bones.
@mayorb3366 Жыл бұрын
Teeth are not considered to be bones. Makes sense that they would be, but they don't qualify. Too long to explain here, but google it for more complete info.

For #22: sharks have no skeleton, so no bones there, but they have teeth, and these are technically also bone. They keep replacing them as they grow older and break them, but it is calculated that they go through 600 of them in a lifetime on average.

The invention of the microscope led to the discovery of the cell by Hooke. While looking at cork, Hooke observed box-shaped structures, which he called “cells” as they reminded him of the cells, or rooms, in monasteries. This discovery led to the development of the classical cell theory.😊

the Paleolithic period (roughly 2.5 million years ago to 10,000 B.C.), early humans lived in caves or simple huts or tepees and were hunters and gatherers. They used basic stone and bone tools, as well as crude stone axes, for hunting birds and wild animals.27 Sep 2019
