if you read the manual to the engine, you will find that to check the oil you do not screw the cap back down! only after you check the oil before running it! So you are running the engine low on oil by screwing the dip stick all the way back in!

Confused on the choke run and, I also have a very small needle piece that goes into the pressure somewhere but have no clue where to put it. Other than that I put this thing together correctly prior to the video but not seeing anything on instructions that are clear. Great video though, feels like the dad I never had. A lot of guys make videos on these types of put together projects however, never shows it step by step. This helps people considering any type of work and it helps a lot for most learners! Thank you

The choke is used when the engine is cold let it run for a 30sec to a minute the slide it over to the run position. As far as the needle thing nothing is coming to mind unless there Was one inside the hose where the hand screws are located. But that that’s a stretch because I’m not sure what your referencing as the needle piece. Thanks for reaching out and thanks for Subscribing

Assuming the soap isn’t to thick a mixture. Try the black high flow tip to start with if the soap starts flowing work your way up thru the smaller tips. That should do the trick

I love mine but the knob i had it tight and it kept coming off from vibrations but the Hoses connctors needs to be turn toward the left side because it keeps hitting the hot part everytime I move back towards it It starts up first time put gas n oil in it and it started right up after I pulled it to get fuel through then It started I let it sit for a few days no choke started right up.... But I looked at the manual and the connectors were opposite than the way it was But I think if I'm correct you change it around I haven't fully looked at it to try because I did a quick job and didn't use it much ....

I have a troubleshooting question. Once I get the pressure washer going and start spraying. It kept shutting off. What could be the reason for that?

Check to see if the choke is moved to the closed position after starting

How often do I need to change the oil for each driveway projects?

You shouldn’t need to change the oil on a per driveway project. It doesn’t consume oil unless there is a problem. If yours is brand new consider changing the oil after 20-25 hours of run time. To get any initial engine breaking in debris out. That may or may not be present.

@@user-fy7sg6tk5k if your going to check the oil after a brief initial start up let it run 5 minutes until the temperature has come up. Then allow a few minutes for the oil to settle then recheck the dip stick indicator level. Easy peasy

Yes after your initial start up after filling with oil let it run shut of the engine let it sit for a few minutes then check the oil. It doesn’t matter if the water is on for this. But definitely the engine is off. I have another video on the operation of this pw and a couple shorts with additional tips and pointers check them out thanks. ✌️

What type of gasoline does it need ? Regular or diesel ?

I cover it in the video I highly recommend watching the entire video there are some great tips and valuable information. But to answer your question question I use ethanol free gasoline in all my equipments engines that require gasoline. The ethanol is not stable for any period of time.

Thank you , but if you don’t mind me asking , we are pretty new at pressure washer and are somewhat confused on what type of ethanol free gasoline to buy and where to buy it. I saw they sell some at Home Depot but there’s so many choices and little information on the differences. Is there a specific number like 50:1 mix or 4 cycle or just buying at a gas station.

@@shirleygarcia93 I Shirley this gasoline is from a gas station you may have to inquire but there will be some in your are that sell gasoline I. Higher oxtane that is ethanol free 90-93 octane gas is what it will be. This pressure washer is a 4 stroke engine and 2 stroke engines are what use the oil mixes you referred to ie 50:1. Hope this helps if you have more questions just ask take care

If there is ethanol it will be show on the pump “up to 10% ethanol. In some cases you may have 15%
