General Quarters 3: Graf Spee verse 4 Destroyers

A run through of a game of General quarters 3 in tabletop simulator. I made a few little errors but the general gist of the game is there.

The convoy (freighters) would SCATTER (head off in all directions) so it would be harder for the German PB to go sink many of them once they get over the horizon ! The defending DD's are fighting to SAVE THE CONVOY !!!

Cool. DD vs. PB, long shot for the DD.. but yea, they ''could'' do it. While it was classified as a CA, but 11 in. guns, thats one 'Very' heavy cruiser. RE: 'Making a few mistakes', Bad news.. Your Human. Worse News.. Theres No Cure. : )

Where did you get the individual ship stats/cards from? i've been searching for some time but haven't found anything at all!

He probably just clipped the ship cards from the rule book PDF and put them on Tabletop Simulator's counter/token feature. It's easy to do. Someone uploaded a TTS workshop mod for the General Quarters rules not long ago. It doesn't have ship stats (probably a copyright worry) but it does have the turn/torpedo track, various tracking markers, and some non-skinned 3D ships of various classes & nations. If you have GQ3, I'd suggest checking it out, as it's a good starting base to add the aforementioned ship cards & whatnot for your own use.

So is this a mod on steam or is this something you made yourself?

The rule set is from old dominion games works. The art work I just trimmed in paint for the ship sheets, and the ship counters are from Mikes 2nd wargame page.

I don't like anything about these rules so far. I don't think the 11in guns have the rate of fire or turret rotation to be able to effectively engage a maneuvering destroyer.
