I would’ve guessed at this point they would offer to give you a new vehicle. Some of that water damage could be yet unseen, and cave in later. I know that’s why you’re using the fans and hopefully that will halt the damage. I did a quick search and found that if repairs are substantial you could request a replacement, not repair. it’s their fault on more than one thing. In support though, so sorry you’re going through this all, but you are handling your business very capably, and we are learning from your tenacity. This will all be fixed and worked out, and you’ll be back on the road!

What ever happened with ur bike keys? You didnt bring that up again. I watched back then as Domino broke down on the freeway after picking it up from walmart. That was pretty rough. Brittany when it comes to getting vehicle fixed.The mechanic target the woman the most bc they think you'll won't spend the time to know how things operate.Get a owners manual on your RV and study it like your in college and get to know what you bought instead of just having it.

Wow I’m so sorry this happened to you. I don’t have much faith in General RV, Nomadic Introvert is experiencing quality control issues with them in Florida as well. Not a good look for them. Makes me feel like someone was using your vehicle while you were away. Be sure to remove all personal items, especially keys, when dropping off your vehicle for service. 💜🙏🏽☮️

Yes @NomadicIntrovert has so many issues with her van including damages that get returned to her that didn't exist when she dropped it off. They should be made aware people living nomadically usually KZbin so their reputation is getting blasted.

I am SO SICK of RV dealers and their service departments just royally ripping people like you and me off. I took my brand new travel trailer in for warranty repairs. My dealer was MeyersRV. When I went to pick it up, they told me it was ready and to drive on back to hook up. Before doing so, I opened and looked into the trailer to find mud all over the floors, bits and pieces of repair parts (none of which were necessary for the repairs I had done) and water pooled on the floor!!! I was furious and let them know it in ever so polite a manner that they needed to make EVERYTHING in my life better RIGHT THEN. It took 4hours longer, because I found they had NOT fixed the things I’d included on my list. We just can’t have nothin!!! I took the same approach you did and ultimately had to go all the way to the corporate level. It may be too late at this point, but don’t live with the damage General RV caused to your home. Make them replace all that damaged wood. Documentation does not repair the wood. Make sure you check the floor, which may also be impacted.

@@Iggystar71 No, it’s definitely not! I was so upset. Now, I’m learning how to repair things myself, but most RV manufacturers will only deliver parts to dealers. They do their darndest to force RV buyers to go back to the same dealers. It’s like a scam! It is past time for customers to push back.

When you took your home😘 in there for those repairs he came back with your waterline messed up and they was putting the stuff and drilling it them holes underneath. If you have fresh water in your home tank and water in your black tank. Then it sounds like somebody was using your r v. Put a little ammonia in the water when you washing your clothes and that will killed the smell.

Brittany, I would request a new camper because water damage could come later and cause you some more damage and they will not be so willing to take accountability when and if that happens. You are now using dryers to dry areas of water and that’s not a good look at all. Please think about what you are letting them do as far as what they are really responsible for and what you will be facing later. Either way, best of luck 😊

If you feel you brought a defected trailer or anything and the purchaser is giving you the run around, contact your Attorney General in the state you brought the product. Hi Brittany. So sorry to hear about what you're going through. If you have a small dehumidifier,, plug it up so that it can pull the water out of the air in your RV. You don't want to trap moisture in that storage space because it will cause mold. Praying for you.

Are you running the air conditioner? Air conditioners will condense the moisture in the air and drip like that. Make sure you’re tracing it to the actual water pump. Turn off your air conditioner leave it sit for a while. Then if it’s still leaking, it’s the water pump. if it only happens when the air conditioners on that is air conditioner condensation and it’s supposed to be like that. My trailer has a drip from the very top that freaked me out until I realized it’s coming off the air conditioner.

They need to place a flood / water damage claim and give you another travel trailer. You must ask them about the frame since there is mold present. You don’t want mold to eat a hole through that steal either.

Thank God you record EVERYTHING so sad after all was said and done, they were to only repair, yet caused more damage, nothing related to the repairs they were to do, I experienced this in my home , builders and repair company Frontier Construction of Riverside California Denied that they did ALL of the MULTIPLE negative things to my home I experienced including, an upstairs bathroom leak down into my laundry room, stating I lifted a tub and removed tub seating that the plumber diagnosed was the leak They removed my dining room floors leaving me on subflooring and damaged my heating ducts to my forced heating stating that the repairs didn't include that area, yet 1 week of daily checking on them the trap door to sub closet, was opened daily

Sorry that happened to you and glad they are owning up to everything, they also need to look at the cameras for whoever was going in your vehicle and removed your bike key. Instead of repair they need to offer you a new or replacement vehicle because water damage can take a long time to fix.
