Wow. She says they only consider clinical letters and not research letters as much since the job is clinical. Totally makes sense. Then why are they exploiting IMGs for research without paying them? Mayo is probably first in the list of doing that.

she says that it may be better than nothing. and i would say the research with no payment would be for the publications and the name of which you were, for the cv, and the contacts you make while researching

It is a huge privilege to be able to listen to the program director of Surgery at Mayo, the best hospital in the US and arguably the whole wide world .

No. Med School grades are important mainly for US students. USMLE scores are always more important for IMGs.
