I absolutely love this interview, got me emotional when Dr. Wardrop was talking about his transformation and growth as a physician concerning his disposition towards the international scene. He also has a great sense of humor. God bless him!

Awesome. It would be nice if you could interview the PD of a General Surgery residency program and lead him to talk about the chances of IMGs breaking through in US surgical residency. Many thanks for the great work you are doing for the IMG community. God bless you.

Is it possible, one can get residency after match results announced, I mean one who has not applied in the month of September
@Ramangoit-m4m Жыл бұрын
Is yog fair enough to filter? Some IMG canditates get graduation date after internship while other get graduation date and then start post graduation internship. It doesn’t justify this filter criteria. Could you ask this question please

Quick question. @malkeasaad and Dr Richard . I’m a non US img applying for this season that made an iOS app to monitor symptoms of heart failure to reduce readmissions with a goal to reduce readmission. Now I want to include that in my work experience but I don’t know what to write in the “organization” field. What would you recommend. With all due respect, the American taxpayer funds the residency programs in this country. Therefore,US MD and DO applicants should get the priority for residency spots.

Our middle east oil has made you rich then middle eastern applicants should be prioritized according to your own logic

American taxpayers will benefit in much the same way if they receive services from the img who have trained in US. I dont get your point.
@Agtsmirnoff3 ай бұрын
@@sudheshkumar2489 my point is no IMG should be considered for positions for which USA Citizen Has applied but has gone unmatched
@sudheshkumar24893 ай бұрын
@@Agtsmirnoff thats a very different argument. you talked about an average taxpayer at first. taxpayers get health services and it doesnt matter who they get it from, img or us grads
@Agtsmirnoff3 ай бұрын
@@sudheshkumar2489 yes, American medical students, whose parents have paid into the American tax system their entire life, should get the priority. I don’t understand why this is such a hard concept for you don’t understand. If you are not a US citizen, you should get second priority over American citizens.
