FYI HMRC allows a whopping 9p/Mile for using a fully electric car for business. Given typical fast charging rate on public charging is around 79p/kWh, EV drivers will be severely out of pocket. No incentive to decarbonise, better off travelling by diesel car!

Hi Geoff, love the videos… I am an airport company in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. On Sunday 12th May I was just getting back from dropping off customers at Bristol Airport and as I came off the M5 junction 11 onto A40 towards Cheltenham,Golden Vally Bypass, the police had coned off a lane and to my amazement there was a land Rover/Range Rover burnt out on the carriage way. The portion between Orleans and 200km before the Pyrenees is a delight :-) I tend to prefer the A16 to go to Orleans and go west of Paris rather than A26 and A1. Much less people, less radar, less stress, not much longer (subject to traffic) and cheaper. Around Paris avoid the toll fee rip off of the A86 runner between Paris La défense and Versailles (10€ for 10km ^^) Have fun!

Can you say if you're going to do anymore videos addressing the ridiculous hikes in insurance costs? I insure my other car for my daughter and her insurance costs just jumped from £2.4k to £3.6!! It's not a Range Rover or an EV, just a 1.4 Astra. The insurance companies are clearly passing their losses on said Rovers and EVs onto everyone else regardless of risk or NCD! I have 4 vehicles in total and have never made a claim. Yet my insurance has gone up by 50%!!
