I think you'll be happy with the Polaris and they are great with accessory options. I think the grass inside is due to the aerodynamic flow with open side windows. The kids will probably need a wet suit when you go through the mud. Jack buddy you'll want to wear boots, because when dad gets stuck good chance you'll be the one hook up the winch to a tree while dad stays dry in the UTV to run the controls. (Hey I'm a parent too, I know this stuff). I want a side by side, but then I'd have to buy a new trailer too, hmmmm.

My brother and sister in law go out to Winoka every year in May. They belong to a dune buggie club and hit the dunes hard. Dune buggies, 4 wheelers, side by sides. They stay for a week. They really love the dunes. Cant wait to see your video on the dunes. Hmm maybe the Ranchero on the dunes 😁. Lol Jack and Aj will be in heaven with the General. Enjoy it and the memories you will be making.

Hey Kent, I'm new to your channel but I've been watching Grow Jack for quite a while. I'm a fellow Okie in Tulsa and loving both channels I'm working my way through the previous SBG videos this weekend. We have those stickers here in Northern California too. We call 'em Puncture Vine. They get stuck in my boots and I end up tracking them in the house. You can't go barefoot around here. My dog gets them in her feet. And they make short work of bicycle tires.

we have these for rentals and have some approaching 3000 miles, solid machines, no major issues with trans or engines breaking anything. some belts but thats normal for renters to beat them way beyond normal usage . nice machine ,

We have loved our 2021 XP 4 1000.....to be honest I'm not sure there is a magic solution for the dust problem. After every ride our kids are covered. These machines are a blast though! Keep us updated on your accessories!

I found a 2022 General XP2 on a deal that fell thru. My last 3 machines were Rangers . I'm loving the General, full cab with heater and turn signals. Great video and awesome machine!

If you remove the back window, the grass situation will improve. That or get door windows. It comes threw the doors and because of the rear window, it has no place to go and just swirls in the back seat area.

I added a supplemental gasket to the body side around the doors, and I still get tons of dust from gravel roads….. so that wasn’t the fix either. I also have the louvered windshield. Tried opening that. Doesn’t help.

Hello from So California. Does your General come with a reliable skid plate? I had a 2010 Ranger that came with a silly plastic skid plate. I replaced it with an aftermarket skid plate, but many of the bolts easily stripped out when removing and re-installing the new plate was necessary. Thanks, Roy So California.

After owning Polaris RZR's of all kinds, 900 2 & 4 seat, 1000 XP 2 & 4 seaters, Ranger and my General XP 4 1000, The General XP 4 1000 is the dustiest and dirtiest of them all. I have both front and rear windows, Extended mud flaps and the dust and dirt pours into the cabin. I have sealed as many gaps in the rear window, door seals and even the panel gaps in the interior panel trim pieces especially under the seat and rear firewall with minimal success. The next thing for me to do is to install upper doors and minimize the amount of swirl coming into the cabin above the doors. Other than this, I love it.

We had 3 polaris machines and the general is the best And has the least amount of dirt and dust that comes inside our XP turbo was probably the worst at our our ZR 900 Trail was extremely warm both rzr’s have been extremely warm We love the general

I am having problems connecting my IPod to polaris Ride command. Its connected but only plays a few songs out of thousands. The progress bar shows the songs are playing but no volume except a few songs. Do you know what the issue is? This is a known issue but no answers on how to fix this. This has to be a software glitch.

That’s not something I have experience with but I think the first thing I would try is using a different device and make sure your IPod isn’t the problem. Other than that I think Polaris is going to have to help you out. Good luck

Has anyone installed a rear bench seat in the general 4 XP? Mine just showed up to the dealer and they’re telling me I CANT install a rear bench seat. I’ve seen videos of people doing it on the 2021. Is there something diff with the rear console in the 2022?

They seem tough but I haven't really tested them much. I really like the pioneer but after a trip to the mountains in one I am not a fan of the transmission in them.

and the leaf blower will come in handy for drying after a wash too!! For sh & gigs, remove the front and rear poly shields for a test to see if that reduces the amount of debris. Oh and it is a side by side......YOU will get dirty hahahaha

Nice ride... I ordered ours in July. Its a 2 seat model that came in black crystal color. Got ours in Mid September. Love it. We Also have a Can Am Max X3, new this year. I would rather drive the General than the X3.

Should have gotten the Yamaha way better . Sold Polaris Yamaha and Honda . Polaris was by far the most unreliable machine by far . Make sure you bought the Polaris warranty not some insurance warranty not good dealers won’t honor it . I sold over 500 a month.Polaris terminated my dealership because I ran down BLM on my personal phone . Sorry company
