Black Adam knocked Superman out. It was with Shazam help that they won that fight. Shazam in his early continuity versus Superman will always loose to Superman. Though later continuity versions of Shazam have managed to beat the Man of Steal.

Lets say this for a sec, Lets let Ultraman eat all the kryptonite to amped him to full power and even have one to weaken Zod, Zod is smart enough to destroy it fast even if Ultraman held him down, He was able to fight Two kryptonians and EVEN June moone used her magic to pull down Zod and he was still fighting, So with proof he had weakness against him and he still kept fighting, if he can do that, Ultraman would be like Killer Croc hell I say if Killer Croc was aware of Ultra man before Black Adam, He would wait until He didn’t eat any kryptonite and beat him to death because he isn’t powered up. And that’s possible if we used Killer Croc from Rebirth who took on Aquaman and King Shark. My point here is You give Ultraman food and make him 100% Zod will be weaken yes BUT hes smart enough to wear him out and hes a general for crying out loud he’ll figure out how to beat him in that zone.

In terms of intelligence, it depends on which Ultraman iteration you're referring to. Grant Morrison's Ultraman was originally an astronaut. He gained his powers after an emergency surgery performed by aliens following a near fatal accident in space. Post-operative stress resulted in him losing his mind and becoming a homicidal maniac. However, that version of Ultraman wasn't a "meathead" as he's described in this video. Keep in mind, Ultraman destroyed one of his enemies (a creature of another race) at the end of Morrison's "Earth 2" arc by lobotomizing that individual using his X-ray and Heat vision simultaneously. That being said, all iterations of Zod win this fight because he's a General. He's spent his whole (abnormally long) life fighting and learning how to outwit others in combat.

Zod hands down. Ultra Man injured Anti Monitor is powerful BUT if this is new 52, Zod would win mainly because hes super smart in combat, He knows who to target first even holding his own to Killer Croc AND enchantress, Now for anyone thinking this is funny… Enchantress gave Justice League their super easy ass whooping of a life time and turned the earth her own playground where Darkseid even Anti Monitor couldn’t on their own. Killer Croc at the end was very close to beating King shark if not for his wish to die which by the way is the same one who can throw around Aquaman, WHO knocked out Superman and pushed him away easily. Zod was smart enough to target her first, so in a fight, his instinct will come over and easily find weaknesses of him, Basically put a Martial artist against a football player, the strongest of them all against a mid weight Fighter who isn’t the best, he’ll figure out a way to put the big guy down and keep him out his game. Zod got this, Sorry but Zod has everything he needs to put down Ultraman.
